John Lunn is the Founder and CEO of Gr4vy. With over 21 years of experience in fintech and technology, he has a strong background in financial services, payments, and security. John previously held leadership roles at CyberSource, which was sold to Visa for $2Bn in 2010, and years after, he helped found Passmark Security, which was acquired by RSA in 2006.
He later joined PayPal, where he helped build its Developer Relations team and played a key role in the acquisition of Braintree. John also contributed to the launch of PayPal Ventures, a $350M venture capital fund, and served as a Board Observer for several companies, including Dosh, Arkose, Raise, Acorns, and Toss.
Ali Minaei is a technology executive with over 20 years of experience in building and leading software engineering teams. Being the co-founder and CTO at Gr4vy, he simplifies the complexities of payments for businesses across the globe. During his career, Ali held senior engineering positions at various fintech companies, including PayPal, Yoyo Wallet, and Wonga.
During his time at PayPal, Ali filed for more than 16 patents in the payments industry, showcasing his expertise and passion for technology and innovation. He is a skilled technologist with expertise in payments, mobile development, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure.
Outside of Gr4vy, Ali is known for mentoring and advising early-stage startups in the payments industry.
Cristiano Betta is a software engineer and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, specialising in payments and startup operations. He has a proven track record of building innovative products and solving complex challenges.
During his time at PayPal, Cristiano played a key role in expanding PayPal’s presence within the global startup community. Alongside his payments expertise, he has founded multiple successful startups, gaining extensive hands-on experience in the entrepreneurial space.
A respected thought leader and speaker, Cristiano has shared his knowledge on payments at conferences worldwide. He is also an active member of the tech community, having organised numerous hackathons globally and mentored many aspiring entrepreneurs.
Olga Tish is a global leader with extensive expertise in finance, ecommerce, and payments. She brings a hands-on approach as Gr4vy CFO.
Before joining Gr4vy, Olga held pivotal roles at Braintree and PayPal, where she served as Head of Finance for International Business Expansion. In these positions, she successfully developed and implemented operational frameworks that ensured regulatory compliance and supported growth across EMEA and APAC.
At eBay, she completed the Finance Leadership Development Program, designed for high-performers and emerging leaders, where she spearheaded key projects focused on driving both operational excellence and business performance.
Zubin Vandrevala is a business leader with 18 years of expertise in financial services, payments, and technology, driving adoption and scaling early-stage digital payment solutions.
During his 7 years at Google as Head of Payment Partnerships, Zubin played a pivotal role in building and growing Google Pay’s global partnerships with payment networks, financial institutions, payment processors, and merchants.
As an early member of Visa‘s digital product team, he initiated and negotiated strategic partnerships with some of the largest US and Canadian financial institutions in the growing shift to online and mobile form-factors. Prior to that, Zubin led product management and partnerships for HSBC Premier credit cards.
