Datalex and Gr4vy enter exclusive partnership to bring payment orchestration to the airline industry

Gr4vy, the cloud-based payment orchestration platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Datalex, a market leader in airline e-commerce solutions, to bring next-generation payment orchestration capabilities to the airline industry.

Gr4vy and Datalex have entered into an exclusive agreement to collaborate in the airline sector, combining their strengths to help airlines future-proof their payment systems and unlock new revenue opportunities. This partnership is built on a shared vision to simplify and modernize airline payments with Datalex contributing decades of deep airline retailing expertise and payment capabilities, and Gr4vy bringing powerful, modern payment infrastructure to the table.

Gr4vy’s cloud native, payment orchestration platform integrates directly into DLX Pay, Datalex’s payment platform built specifically to meet the needs of airlines. DLX Pay is available to current airline partners as part of Datalex’s Stellex Offer & Order Management platform, or to airlines seeking a standalone payment solution.

The integration between Datalex and Gr4vy enables airlines to increase conversion and manage and scale payments more flexibly, removing the burden of complex, multi-provider integrations and the costs associated with legacy infrastructure upgrades.

John Lunn, Founder and CEO of Gr4vy, emphasized the shift toward payments as a core product capability:

“We’re seeing more enterprise platforms make orchestration a central part of their value proposition. With DLX Pay, Datalex can offer modern, localized payment experiences to its airline customers without reinventing the wheel. That’s exactly what Gr4vy for Platforms is built for.”

As modern airline retailing evolves toward Offer & Order based systems, modular and flexible payment solutions are becoming increasingly important. The integration of Gr4vy’s technology to Datalex’s payment platform, DLX Pay, ensures airlines can plug in new providers easily and quickly, accelerating time to market and improving operational efficiencies.

Commenting on the announcement, Jonathan Rockett, CEO of Datalex, said:

“We are delighted to announce our exclusive partnership with Gr4vy to bring additional payment orchestration capability to our DLX Pay customers. This capability will enable improved payment conversion rates and a more flexible, streamlined payment experience for airline passengers. As part of the Stellex + product suite, DLX Pay can be adopted as an add-on to our Offer & Order Management platform, Stellex, or as a standalone solution for airlines not currently using Stellex. We are excited to bring this project to fruition later this year alongside our airline launch partner.”

The launch of DLX Pay marks another step in Gr4vy’s mission to support enterprise platforms with turnkey, white-labeled solutions that bring modern payments to complex, multi-merchant environments. As more companies build payments into their products, Gr4vy gives platforms the tools to manage multi-merchant setups, regional compliance, and PSP complexity without adding engineering overhead.
