A scenic 68-mile ride from London to Brighton, bringing together cycling enthusiasts from across the payments industry and following one of the UK’s most iconic cycling routes. We’ll depart from Richmond Little Green, just a short walk from Richmond Station, stop for a well-earned lunch en route, and finish near Brighton seafront for post-ride drinks courtesy of Gr4vy.
The day is fully managed by our cycling partner with experienced ride leaders and support vehicles accompanying the group throughout the journey. Places are limited and participation is subject to confirmation, so register your interest early to be considered for a spot.

Starting in Richmond and finishing on the Brighton coast, this 68-mile route combines stunning scenery, quiet roads, and a rewarding finish by the sea. Our cycling partner has meticulously planned and reviewed the entire course, ensuring riders can focus on the journey while we take care of the details.

Planning and risk management
- The event is planned and managed by RedFox Cycling, meeting UK legal requirements and health and safety standards by identifying and mitigating risks, preventing accidents and injuries, and keeping riders safe on the road.
- The route was fully mapped, recced, and risk-assessed, with identified hazards and practical mitigations recorded.
- Risks were reviewed across the entire event, including vehicle logistics and on-road activity, so every aspect remains safe and properly controlled.
- The event is delivered under RedFox Cycling’s GBP 10 million Public Liability Insurance policy.
- Every participant must sign a standard group cycling waiver, acknowledging and agreeing to the assumption of risk, the release of liability, the need for fitness and equipment, and the rules of the road.
Rider preparation and pre-event communication
- Each rider completes a registration and medical disclosure form and signs a participation waiver.
- We share a detailed kit list and rider briefing pack covering clothing, nutrition, equipment, and on-road etiquette.
- Participants must ensure their bike has been professionally serviced within the last six months; every bike then receives an on-site M-check from our mechanic team.
On-road leadership and support
- Support vehicles carry mechanical equipment, rider day bags, and refreshments.
- A designated Event Manager oversees all vehicle movements, radio communication, and incident escalation.
- A professional photographer captures photos of riders along the way.
- A cycling jersey and water bottle are provided.
Medical emergency response
- RedFox Cycling support vehicles are equipped with comprehensive first-aid supplies, maintaining a high level of safety throughout the event.
- Incident and near-miss reporting is completed within 24 hours to capture lessons learned and continuously improve safety practice.
